I had the chance recently to speak with Kelly Webster of ESPN Dallas about her experience as a woman in sports broadcasting. Kelly is a SportsCenter anchor and reporter for ESPN Dallas among other things. We discussed her background, having her knowledge of sports challenged, working in a male dominated industry, and more! I thought one of the more interesting quotes from Kelly was “I wish more men would recognize that this is something that we chose and it’s something we enjoy and we have knowledge on.
